Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Cherry Lane Counseling in Meridian, trained in helping couples, individuals, families, and children improve their most crucial relationships, while also improving mental health.
Therapy Specializations
Of my experience, three specializations I’ve pursued are particularly beneficial in helping families and individuals achieve their mental health goals.
The first is Child-Centered Play Therapy, which is one of the most effective therapeutic techniques when working with children ages 3-10.
The second is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is powerful in reducing and often eliminating symptoms of Trauma. It has also been shown to improve other disorders such as anxiety, depression, phobias, and substance abuse.
The third is EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples. This model assists couples in better recognizing, responding to, and fulfilling the core emotional needs each person is hoping to get satisfied in their most critical relationship
